Summary
:
Since July 1, 2024, Lodi Unified School District has served as the Lead District for the Super USDA Food Co-Op Joint Powers Authority (“Super Co-Op”). One district Member of the Super Co-Op serves as the Lead District for the cooperative to work with and oversee the cooperative’s contracted administrative agent and coordinates the ordering of USDA Foods based on member district requests. Approval of this resolution would extend Lodi Unified School Districts term as the Lead District through the 2025-2026 School year. Only Members of the Super Co-Op can serve as Lead District. For serving as the Lead District, the Lodi Unified School District will receive $40,000.00 from the Super Co-Op membership funds.
