Summary:
|
Purchases may be made in an oral, formal, or informal manner, or on the open market, whichever method appears to be in the best interest of the district. District staff administered a Request for Quotes and Proposals from various vendors and evaluated the quotes and proposals based on the most responsible and responsive bidders. This is an extension of the base-year contracts.

Funding:
|
Total estimated funding needed is $7,350,000.00 funded through Fund 13 – Food Service Fund. The amount may be increased or decreased based on the actual needs.
|

Recommendation:
|
The staff recommends that the Board of Education approve extensions as per the contracts for the following vendors:
(1) Bread Products, Gold Star Foods, (2) Chicken Products Pilgrim's Pride & Tyson, (3) Grocery Products, Gold Star Foods, (4)Hot Fresh Pizza Domino's, (5)Paper Supplies Individual Food Service,
(6) Processed Commodities Gold Star Foods & Tyson, (7) Produce General Produce, (8) Specialty & Seasonal Produce Spork Food Hub
Staff recommends that the Board of Education approve increasing and/or decreasing the estimated funding amounts based on actual needs.
